Our way of working
From it's launch in 2021, Digital Agri Hub has always aimed at being a platform by the digital agriculture sector, for the digital agriculture sector. As a Hub, we liaise and collaborate with digital solution providers, data providers, funders, investors and other stakeholders that are developing and investing in the D4Ag ecosystem to create impact by delivering products and services benefiting small-scale producers in low- and middle-income countries.
Partners
Digital Agri Hub creates synergies in digitalisation for agriculture through partnerships and collaborations with other influential organisations and initiatives active in the sector. These partnerships, when needed are formalized in a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), allowing us and our partners to effectively combine efforts and increase our impact on the ground.
Past funders
In its incubation period (2021-2022), Digital Agri Hub was established by Wageningen University & Research, in partnership with GSMA, Grameen Foundation and the Netherlands Advisory Board for Impact Investment (NAB). The incubation phase of the Hub was co-funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the United Kingdom’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
