Digitalisation for Agriculture Community of Practice

The Digital Agri Hub hosts and mentors a Community of Practice on Digitalisation for Agriculture (D4Ag), bringing together people and organisations working to advance digital solutions across agricultural value chains.

The Community of Practice is a space to exchange knowledge and experiences, build connections, discover opportunities and learn from peers. It brings together perspectives from the private sector, development organisations, farmers and agribusinesses, investors, researchers and policymakers.

Who is it for?

The Community of Practice welcomes:

  • Digital and agricultural entrepreneurs developing or deploying digital solutions

  • Farmers, farmer organisations and agribusinesses

  • Investors and funders interested in digital agriculture

  • Development organisations using digital solutions in their programmes

  • Researchers and knowledge organisations

  • Policymakers and decision makers

  • Others interested in the development of digital agriculture in low- and middle-income countries

What happens in the Community?

eConversations and knowledge exchange focus on issues shaping the development and scale-up of digital agriculture and AI, including:

  • Emerging digital solutions, technologies and innovations

  • Data, analytics and digital content

  • Business models, investment and scaling

  • Policy, strategies and enabling environments

  • Capacity building, knowledge and skills

  • Inclusion and the impact of digitalisation on farmers, women and young people

Members are also encouraged to share research and resources, practical experiences, innovations, events, webinars, workshops and opportunities for networking and collaboration.

The Digital Agri Hub helps facilitate the Community, connect members and bring relevant knowledge and opportunities to the network.
