What we do
Data & insights
DIGITAL AGRI HUB COLLECTS DATA ON DIGITAL SOLUTIONS WORLDWIDE, TO TRACK THE EVOLUTION OF DIGITALISATION IN AGRICULTURE AND PROVIDE INSIGHTS AND IMPACT METRICS
We collect, harmonize and analyse data on digital agricultural solutions and publish these data and analytics through an online dashboard. Using this data, and including knowledge and experiences from the broader ecosystem, the Hub delivers insights and impact metrics on the development of digitalisation for small-scale producers. We provide stakeholders with valuable knowledge required to make investments that help changing lives and livelihoods, enabling promising solutions to get to scale and become sustainable.
As a true hub, we strongly believe in collaboration and co-development as a way to move forward. Therefore, we also take a leading role in harmonizing semantics and standardizing the data and metrics required to link relevant sources to derive evidence of impact.

Ecosystem coordination
DIGITAL AGRI HUB STRENGTHENS THE D4AG ECOSYSTEM BY ENGAGING STAKEHOLDERS AND BOLSTERING EXISTING NETWORKS
The Hub strengthens the D4Ag ecosystem through the promotion of South-South and triangular cooperation. We help existing networks to establish a dynamic and sustainable community around digitalisation in agriculture and support this process through knowledge brokering and stakeholder engagement.
Digital Agri Hub engages with its stakeholders in various ways, from sharing and discussing sectoral data and insights on the D4Ag dgroup to initiating webinars and dedicated workshops. This contributes to the deployment of solutions and the evolution of an ecosystem with direct benefits for small-scale producers.

Research & advisory
DIGITAL AGRI HUB PERFORMS RESEARCH AND ADVISES STAKEHOLDERS ON DECISION MAKING, POLICY DEVELOPMENT, AND INVESTMENTS FOR IMPACTFUL D4AG SOLUTIONS THAT BENEFIT SMALL-SCALE PRODUCERS
To leverage the Hub's valuable insights within the D4Ag ecosystem, we engage in advisory activities aimed at various stakeholders.
Our primary objective is to enhance farmers' livelihoods by promoting the effective integration of digitalization in agriculture. By doing so, we contribute to informed decision-making processes based on evidence, ensuring the optimal investment, implementation, and establishment of financial and regulatory frameworks for digital solutions.

Cross-cutting topics
DIGITAL AGRI HUB’S ACTIVITIES FOCUS ON SUPPORTING SMALL-SCALE PRODUCERS, INCLUSION OF MARGINALIZED GROUPS AND CONTRIBUTION TO CLIMATE RESILIENCE
Our activities primarily focus on advancing digital solutions that can bring about positive change for small-scale producers in low- and middle-income countries, leading to improvements in their livelihoods.
As a part of that challenge, we specifically address digital development that benefits women, youth and marginalized groups and communities. As climate change and climate-related disasters pose a particular threat to small-scale producers, D4Ag technologies that strengthen climate resilience are a key priority.
